How do I add my household?

Create a household in the app, then tap Share invite in Settings → Household to send your family a link. They install the app, tap the link (or type the code), and you approve them. The person who created the household is the pack leader — the household's admin; you can hand that role over later.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. LeashTracker is Android-only for now; an iPhone version may follow in the future.

How does the leaderboard work?

It counts logged walks per household member for the current week or month, from the same walks as the feed, so there's nothing extra to track. It also has a Pee & poo view, and a Distance view once GPS walk tracking is on (Plus). Plus adds 90-day and yearly standings and lets you browse past weeks and months.

How do walk reminders work?

Set walk times (for example 08:00 and 18:00) and who should be reminded. If the dog hasn't been walked by then, they get a notification — free on every plan.

Can I pause reminders for someone during school or work?

With Plus, the pack leader can set recurring quiet hours for each member (school, work, appointments), so they aren't reminded then. Pick only days to skip whole days, or only hours to skip them every day. If everyone on a schedule is in quiet hours when a reminder would go out, the whole household gets a heads-up instead.

What happens to lifetime Plus if LeashTracker is ever discontinued?

If LeashTracker ever shuts down, the app keeps working on your phone: you can still log walks and see your recent scores — only syncing with your family stops.

Is my data private?

Your walks and household data are only shared with the members of your household — we don't sell it. On Free, ads are non-personalised. Inactive Free households are deleted after 12 months (with an email warning first). All the details are in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Or email us from your account address and we'll handle it within a month — see delete your account.
